Silk fabrics, hand dyed in a variety of patterns, cut and resewn into pieced scarves. The fabrics: Crepe de chine has a slightly pebbly texture and a slinky drape.  Charmeuse is a silk satin, with an elegant sheen and a delicious weight. Habotai is a smooth lightweight silk dyed in patterns of many colors.
